Vice Chancellors International Award

The University of Central Lancashire is pleased to offer a number of their Vice Chancellors International Awards. The Vice Chancellor’s International Award is one of the graduate and PhD scholarships available for international students. The Vice Chancellor’s International Award is awarded to students of the highest academic merit. The Vice Chancellor’s International Award is a superb scholarship for those in need of PhD scholarships. The scholarship is intended for full time study programmes. It is renewed yearly for as long as the applicant remains eligible which is determined by the above criteria. These PhD scholarships are awarded for any course of study that the university provides as long as the applicant remains in a full time programme of study.

Value

The Vice Chancellors International Award awards an allowance of £1,500 GBP yearly.

Duration

The duration of these PhD scholarships is for a maximum of three years.

Eligibility

  • International undergraduate applicants with A-Levels or the equivalent BBB grades or above 300 UCAS tariff points.
  • International postgraduate applicants with the equivalent of a 2.1 Bachelor’s degree.
  • When providing evidence of academic merit and grades the University of Central Lancashire uses their International Admissions Team will determine the qualification and award the scholarship accordingly. A separate application form is not needed to be filled out. This means that each applicant will be judged individually and the most deserving of the award will be recipients.
  • Applicants must have accepted an offer to study at the university in a full time research degree program.
  • International students must be in compliance with the terms of their visas at all times during the duration of their scholarships.
  • International students will be mandated to show evidence of proficiency in the English language.
  • The Vice Chancellors International Award is only available to applicants that are commencing studies at the University of Central Lancashire.

How to Apply

Applicants must apply to the University of Central Lancashire for a full time research study degree program. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that all the appropriate documentation is delivered to the university. This includes research proposals, previous degrees, academic transcripts, and statements illustrating why the applicant believes they deserve the scholarship. Applications for enrollment can be found online at the university’s main website.

Applications will be reviewed on an independent basis by the University’s International Admissions Team. They will deliberate over the application as well as all the documentation that they have received and they will make a decision. The International Admissions Team’s decision is final.

Deadline

The deadline for the Vice Chancellors International Award is the 31st of May.
