The National Centre of Product Designs and Developmental Research: Development of Methods for Identifying and Presenting Research and the Impact in New Product Developing

Description: This PhD scholarship is tasked with the purpose of developing new methods for identifying quality research when it is applied to New Product Development also referred to as NPD. The goal of the project is to be able to recognize and understand the element of research in NPD projects. It also works to ensure that all research conducted for these developments meets rigorous and unique requirements.

Scholarship Award

Both of these PhD scholarships are fully funded. This means that they cover the domestic tuition rate 100% as well as offer an annual stipend in the sum of £13,863.

Duration

These PhD scholarships are set to last a maximum duration of three years in a full time study setting.

Requirements:

  • The applicant needs to have a greater second class or a first class degree or a master’s degree related to their chosen research topic.
  • The applicant needs to be able to converse professionally. Applicants that are travelling from countries where English is not their primary language will be requested to submit English language valuation scores. The TOEFL or the IELTS are satisfactory for this request.
  • These are highly motivated and competitive positions. Applicants must demonstrate that they can work effectively in a team setting as well as an independent source.
  • The applicant must comprise a research offer that clearly demonstrates in detail the approach the applicant projects to take while performing their research. This includes having a clear outline and hypothesis.
  • The applicant must compose a short personal declaration or composition that demonstrates their motivation for wanting to commence their research or doctorate program.
  • The applicant must deliver all their preceding academic records as well an updated CV or resume.
  • The applicant must supply two references. These references needed to be academic sources from positions relevant to the subject theme.
