The University
The University of Warwick is a public research university situated in Coventry, England. The university was established in 1965 as part of the government’s initiative to increase access to higher education. The university is ranked acceptably for academics as well as student satisfaction. The university sees an annual enrollment of over 22,000 students with at least 10,000 of those applicants being enrolled in postgraduate studies at the University of Warwick.

The PhD Scholarships-
Picturing the West India Regiments in an Age of Unrest, Civil War and Tourism 1850-1914- the University is pleased to announce a limited availability of these PhD scholarships. The intent of this research project is to study Caribbean history and the history of the British Empire.

Award: The scholarship is funded through the AHRC and covers the tuition rate for domestic applicants. In most cases an annual stipend of £13,863 is awarded to qualifying applicants.
Duration: The maximum duration of these PhD scholarships is three years in a full time study program.

Eligibility:
•    Recipients of these studentships have to be residence of the United Kingdom.

Fear of the Armed Black Man in the Antebellum South- the University is pleased to announce limited availability to these PhD studentships. The intent of this research project is to better understand both slaveholders and none slaveholders as they navigated an environment that was filled with an overwhelming fear of race wars.

Award: These studentships find funding through the AHRC and cover the tuition cost for domestic residents. In most cases an annual stipend of £13,863 is available. In some instances a fees only scholarship can be awarded to residents living outside of the United Kingdom.

Artist Led Contributions AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award PhD Studentships- the Warwick Centre for Cultural Policies is pleased to announce the availability of studentships for their AHRC Collaborative Doctoral Award PhD Studentship. These studentships would focus on the importance of cultural value when it is figured into cultural policy debates.

Award: These scholarships will cover the tuition fee for domestic applicants as well as award an annual stipend of £13,726. The scholarships also awards £1,000 annually to cover the expenses for travel and additional research expenses.
Duration: The duration of these PhD studentships is three years.

Molecular Analytical Science Centre: the university has received funding through the EPSRC to develop a science centre at the university. Students with academic backgrounds in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, and Life Science are encouraged to apply.

Award: The studentships offer domestic tuition rates waived as well as an annual stipend of £13.700 for domestic students. Students from other countries are still eligible to apply for these studentships but they will only receive a partial tuition award.
Duration:  Studentships are now being awarded for a fully funded studentship to last for a maximum duration of four years of PhD studies at the new Molecular Analytical Science Centre.

WMG and Cummins Turbo Technologies Engineering Doctorate Studentship: the Universities International Doctorate Centre is pleased to announce the limited availability of their PhD studentships in partnership with the WMG and the Cummins Turbo Technologies. These companies are searching for applicants who can help supply leading research towards engineering.
Award: Applicants will receive an annual tax free stipend of £19,000 as well as waived domestic tuition fees.
Duration: These PhD scholarships last for a maximum duration of four years in a full time doctoral engineering program.

Eligibility:
•    At this time this project is only accessible to domestic applicants.
•    The applicant must have high honours in a degree relative to engineering or technology.
Deadline: There is not a current deadline for these PhD studentships. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.

PhD Scholarship in Computational Optimization of Biopharmaceutical Developments- the University is pleased to offer a limited number of studentships for this research project. The goal of these studentships is to understand the aspects for biopharmaceutical industry success among an age where maturing technology and other uncertainties are present.
Award: These studentships award an annual stipend in the amount of £13,863 as well as cover domestic tuition rates. These studentships are normally available to just domestic applicants but occasionally applicants for other countries are awarded a partial tuition fee scholarship.

Duration: These studentships last for a maximum duration of four years in a full time study program.

Eligibility:
•    The applicant must provide a two page research proposal. The proposal must demonstrate an understanding of the research project.
•    The applicant must apply for enrollment at the Warwick Business School Doctoral Program.
•    The applicant must provide at least two letters of recommendation
•    The applicant must provide an up to date CV and all previous academic transcripts.
•    The applicant must submit a personal statement.
