Scholarship Award

These PhD scholarships award full tuition scholarships as well as an additional stipend in the sum of £13,847 annually. International applicants are also eligible for these awards but will be required to obtain additional funding for the difference in tuition rates.

Scholarship Duration

These PhD scholarships are set to last for a period of 3-4 years in a full time study setting.

Requirements for PhD Consideration:

  • The applicant must possess a higher second class or first class honours degree, or a master’s degree in a relative research area as the one they are applying for.
  • The applicant needs to be able to converse professionally. Applicants that are travelling from countries where English is not their primary language will be requested to submit English language valuation scores. The TOEFL or the IELTS are satisfactory for this request.
  • The applicant must comprise a research offer that clearly demonstrates in detail the approach the applicant projects to take while performing their research. This includes having a clear outline and hypothesis.
  • The applicant must compose a short personal declaration or composition that demonstrates their motivation for wanting to commence their research or doctorate program.
  • The applicant must deliver all their preceding academic records as well an updated CV or resume.
  • The applicant must supply two references. These references needed to be academic sources from positions relevant to the subject theme.

Deadline

These above PhD scholarships accept applications throughout the year. Funding is limited and the earlier an applicant submits their applications the greater the chance they will be awarded a PhD scholarship.
